Equality dancE Dutch Open Championships 2011

Dear dancers and visitors,

The Dutch Open that took place in Zwolle last Saturday 21 May has been very successful. The competition was a bit more modest compared to previous years but the audience was very enthusiastic, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the dinner buffet was great, and the competitors have pushed themselves to tremendous achievements. The Ballroom and Latin finals for the A Class in the evening truly were a ‘grand finale’: Stella Ponne, our presenter, got the audience to encourage their favourite couples in every possible way. In short, it was a dance competition that will be well remembered. Adjudicators, DJ, presenter, scruteneer, volunteers and, last but not least competitors and visitors: thanks very much for your effort and enthusiasm, and hope to see you next year!
